 Roller Coasters: Déjà Vu

Overview | User Reviews | Photos

 Overview

Déjà Vu opened August of 2001 as part of the "Three Coaster Addition" turning Six Flags Magic Mountain into The Xtreme Park.  This ride is a Giant Inverted Boomerang, designed by Vekoma, in which passengers ride below the rails in suspended, ski-lift style trains.

The ride has a maximum speed of 65mph, and spans 1203-feet in length.   Déjà Vu features two 196-foot 90-degree towers, one 110-foot boomerang, and a 102-foot high vertical loop.

The ride uses a cable system to lift the trains up the tower, and then releases the train, sending riders flying forwards and backwards through the elements.

Being the first to open of the three Giant Inverted Boomerangs purchased by Six Flags , Déjà Vu became the tallest and fastest coaster of its type.

Even though this is one of the shortest rides in the park and has low capacity, it was a great addition to the park and has become a guest favorite.
