Wow! This is one heck of a ride if you like swooping down 200 foot hills over Lake Erie! The tunnels are excellent, and there's hardly ever a wait, only one problem: The lap bar hurts like heck, takeing all the fun out of the airtime hills. But it's still a must ride at cedar point, if you don't mind sore thighs.

Great Hyper. Lots of airtime. Really bumpy, but a great coaster. A must ride at Cedar Point!

This ride is great. I am at odds with the negative reviews I have read. Yes, this ride is a little rough, but it's incredibly fun. The hill is huge (it may not be a tall as MF, but it sure takes a lot longer to get up), and there's a wonderful view from the top. The only part I don't like is when you get to the furthest point out, on that turn... it's super super rough. But the bunny hills on the way back are too fun!! They have great air time... although I don't like the tunnels. (Hot.) Since MF came, the line has not been nearly as long. This is the one ride my husband and I ride over and over again.

A good ride but nowhere near #1 like it is rated...

If it weren't for TTD, Magnum XL 200 would still be number one on my list. The drop is probably the funnest drop I ever rode. The whole ride gives great airtime. While you are in the tunnels, you have no clue when you are going to be slammed into you seat, or thrown out. And if you keep your knees up while in the loading station, you can get even more airtime. The cars may be small and crammy, but the ride is worth the pain.

I was hardpressed to give it an overall rating of good because it is just not that good. The lap bars just fall onto your seat cutting off most of your air time, the ride offers a bit too much G's, and just isn't as fun as everybody says it is. I like the misters in the queue, they are a great cool off and much more effective then MF's and the queue just seems a bit away from the rest of the park. The theming of Magnum was more just looking down at the eye pleasing water park and the lake, but in my opinion it was still great, much better then most coasters. Although Magnum is a fun ride it just isn't nearly as fun as the hype around it says. In my opinion it's much more of a historical ride, if your at CP you should probably ride it once but you don't need to ride it anymore then that.

Magnum, while a great coaster, is no where near the number one coaster as advertised, but it still provides a great thrill. The drop was very fun and filled with airtime, the two hills after that were filled with great air and the ending bunny hills provide some of the best ejector air on the planet. magnum however is somewhat rough, but if you sit in the middle it will seem a lot smoother.

I thought it would be a great ride, but it flat out s*cked! IMO. The lap bars hurt causing the air-time to be no fun at all. The worst ride at CP, IMHO.
