Summary: OUCH!
January 22nd, 2006
This ride is not fun because the entire time, you experience PAIN! It takes the inversions very slowly and the ride layout is iffy. The ride does have some good footchoppers.

Summary: Good Ride!
April 22nd, 2003
Marine World's "Kong" was one of the park's first two roller coasters. Every time I go to ride it, it gets rougher. They nicely repainted it to nice, vibrant colors, which may attract people more. Which brings me to my next point: the loading times. The line for this coaster is always off-the-charts which is actually understandable. At first I didn't realize it, but now I see that people that are too scared to ride "Medusa" but still enjoy roller coasters come to it. Also, it's right next to "Medusa" which attracts more people. Still, it's constantly breaking down and the length is extremely short. However, it's still fast and thrilling.

Overall, a nice coaster! GRADE: B-

Summary: SLC's are OK
March 27th, 2003
Another Vekoma SLC! Like all SLC, Kong is sort of rough but still fun. After test riding it many times I'm use to the SLC roughness. It's a good ride for what its purpose is, to attract smaller kids who want a good thrill.
