Medusa

Sit in the front for the floorless efect. Other than that seat, the "floorless" thing does nothing. Inversions are taken back to back to back, right after another. Small pops of air in the back on the first drop and the brake run. I'm not so thrilled about the parking lot underneath it.

A good florless with only one problem:

It doesn't really apply much force. It feels as if you're coasting a the same speed the whole time, as opposed to tossing you one way and twisting you another.

I'm not a big fan of these big artsy-fartsy B&Ms (i like the small kick your butt ones better) so i wasnt to excieted over Dusa, and after my first ride in the back row it was exactly how i expected it to be. Then i went on in the front. WOW. Definitley a much better ride up front and one of the B&Ms ive been on!

Marine World's "Medusa" is in my top-three favorite roller coaster list. It contains all elements that are needed to create an exciting ride. It's long, tall, fast, and most of all -- smooth! There are no bumps or roughness and you really do feel free and exhilarated! The first drop is straight down and provides great airtime, and the loops -- seven -- are all unique.

Overall, definitely not a ride to be missed! GRADE: A+

Just the right length. Lots of laughs (some scream but Granny laughs). Teen grandkids went again right away because line was short (4/14/03). Don't miss this one either!

This is one of if not the best floorless coaster ever made! It's smooth, fast, and full of fun! And the exclusive sea-serpent element is great. This is a must for any coaster enthusiast coming to CA. Although it is a parking lot coaster, the q-line and station do have some themeing to it. Overall it is a great coaster!
