V2: Vertical Velocity

With it being the only impulse with an inversion, it is unique and super fun. If you sit in the middle rows, during the first and last launch, you'll get hung upside down which is a great feeling.

An extremely fun ride. I would suggest riding in the back to get the best vertical drop. Really fun.

Vertical Velocity (V2) is a pretty boring roller coaster. The only part that is vertical is the second tower. The first tower extends semi-sloped, twisting, and then straight over the entrence. The themeing is very bad, the only real theaming is a sign that says the name of the coaster. The queue is realy long, but the line is realy short on most days. You can usualy get on the next ride if you don't want the best seats. The best seats are front, middle, and the very end. If you don't like big drops, or lots of flips this is the coaster for you.

Marine World's "Vertical Velocity" is a great coaster. I love the way you get blasted from the loading station and the next moment, you're looking up at the sky. I'm a big fan of drops, and this ride fulfilled that need with its second vertical tower. After you fly up, you plunge back down, giving you a "drop" sensation. The waiting times are a little ridiculous for the length of the ride but that's due to slow operators.

Overall, an excellent must-ride! GRADE: A

Great fun. Short, but such fun it was okay. Don't miss this for a different sensation.

This is a great custom impulse! They did a great job at redoing it after the city found out that it was too tall in the first place. I love the fact that you stall upside down, almost, and that it is over the main entrance. The launch isn't that strong and it isn't that fast but the front tower is great.
