This is a very good ride, but not great. This did not thrill me quite as much as some of my other favorite coasters. Don't get me wrong, but there seems to be something missing; I just can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's layout wasn't unique enough, I don't know. It is definitely a must ride, and the best in that park !

One hell of a ride! Besides the queue, it's perfect, what else can I say? My favorite hypers are a tie between SFA's superman, Bull, and this. All just kick in their own ways but Nitro definitly has it's own uniqueness that will never be beat!

Perfect. This is the best thing on this earth. Perfect First Drop. Great Airtime. Nice Hammerhead. Intense Helix. And the bunnyhops makes it even better.
The themeing is good. Yeah it's a Gotham city theme.
The queue line is Excellent too.
Overall the best.

Nitro is an awsome coaster that delivers an awsome ride. The first hill is the greatest ive ever been on when u ride in the front you dont c the bottom until the entire train is decending. the airtime on this ride is like no other and the helix is well placed the bunny hops at the end ad an exciting ending to this awsome ride Nitro definitly makes it to the top of my list.

On a side note, before I start, I rated the Queue and Themeing as good, even though they are subpar, because I'm of the belief that a coaster of Nitro's quality shouldn't have its score brought down by a simple queue. Besides, the minimalist industrial theme works.
Anyway, Nitro begins with an extremely slow lift, which affords the rider a beautiful view of the lake and a forest which stretches to the horizon. Of course, you forget all that when you head over the first drop which (thankfully) lacks the B&M dip. If you're in the front row, you hang for a near eternity, while back row is treated to a long bit of ejector air. The second hill's air is somewhat neutered by a left-hand downward gradient. The next two hills provide pretty good floating air, while the hammerhead gives a decent amount of g's. The ride really shines, however, when you hit the upward spiral. Unlike a normal upward helix, the G's get more powerful as you climb higher. After hitting the MCBR, you hit a series of awesome bunny hops. These are most likely my favorite bits of airtime *anywhere*. The only thing that makes S:ROS a better ride for me is the fact that Nitro's larger hills don't always provide enough air on colder days.

What can I say? Go straight to Nitro when you get in the park, the line is usually very short early (10-15 minutes). Otherwise you might wait a while (30-45 minutes). This is one of B&M's best coasters to date. Too bad its located in Six Flags Great Adventure. You don't want to miss this one folks.

Nitro is an awesome coaster. It has a fun out-and-back layout that extends way out of the park and it has one of the most exhilerating drops on the planet. The hills provide excelent floating airtime, but not amazing airtime found on other hypers. The pos. g's are scarce with the exception of the hammerhead and the upward helix. The ending bunny hills are the perfent ending to a great ride.

Opening day today at Great Adventure today, and Nitro is still the star attraction, this is the best coaster in the park. The 230 foot lift hill and 215 foot drop with a layout of hills, a hammerhead turnaround, and a helix with bunny-hops make this an excellent attraction, even though it is trimmed, you will enjoy this ride very much!
