Right side:
I was quite surprised by this coaster. Rough, but its got a good classic wooden layout. I hear that the left side is much better, and even though I've never ridden I'd have to agree as the right side lacked almost all forces except for a few seconds of somewhat uncomfortable lateral G's on the turnaround. Overall a nice ride that is worth a short wait, but definitely ride the other coasters in the park (excluding Viper) before this.

This is a review of Rolling Thunder's left side. Though the coaster has dual tracks, they differ from one another. Left side is the superior side, however.
The nice thing about the cars, though they do not track amazingly, have shared lapbars. These bars consistantly leave you (me anyway) with around eight(!) inches of room. No, it's not a smooth ride, but head to back for some (non optional) stand-up air. Refurbished somewhat over the last year, it's beginning to generate lines. Get on it next time you pass it.

The only reason Six Flags didn't tear this coaster down is because it is the only wooden coaster in the park. Its not a bad coaster, though. Too bad they usually only have 1 track running. Even so the queue time isn't bad nor is the theming. Its worth your time if you have about 15-30 minutes.
