Alpengeist

This is definitely one of the best themed rides out there. It is also one of my favorite looping coasters. A person is really "flying" over the ground. It's not for the weak of heart though, because it really moves !

I loved this ride. 6 inversions, a high spiraling drop, intense helixes, great theming, and good use of terrain. What else is needed?

Currently one of my favorites, every element on this beast is massive. The drop literally lasts forever and ends in an nicely intense immelman. The Loop and Zero-G Roll are other notably fun parts, and the corkscrew is surprisingly intense in the front seats.



The best time to ride - At night in the front, the top of the lift is pitch dark, as is the bottom of the drop.

Alpengiest is my #1 coaster and it will become yours if you go on it. It beats Loch Ness and Big Bad Wolf by a long shot. I also recommend riding Apollo's Chariot while you are there. It's a great park and Alpengiest is almost worth the admission!

This thing is huge but I don't like the bigger inverts because they don't mantain forces nearly as well as the little ones. For me inverts are all about positive g's, and Alpie lacks in that area.

This is the number one coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Nothing can compare to this inverted monster. The cobra roll over the river is amazing! The numerous times of you going through and under objects adds to the excitement. This is my favorite coaster, and when you ride it, you will see how this beast has been on the top 10 coaster spot since its debuit.

This is the best inverted coaster out there. Nothing comes close. There is wonderful theming, even though it is odd seeing frozen signs when it is 90 degrees outside. Alpengeist is the tallest, fastest, and most twisted inverted coaster out there. It has a short queue time on top of all of that. Could you ask for anything more?
