Dueling Dragons - Ice

This was not quite as good as Fire. It's first hill is shorter, so it runs a little slower. I like the part at the beginning where this one jumps over the twisted Fire track below. I also like the cobra roll as you are headed into a wall! It too is a rather short ride though.

ice dragons is really "cool"! the smoothness, the speed, the themeing and the excitment will make you feel cold! this ride will freeze you to the to soul!

Very awsome ride, theming is incredible in detail!

fun ride if you dont sit in a middle row or middle seat

Ice Dragon is a great ride for many reasons, the queue, theming, fun factor and near collisions. The near collisions are great if you sit in the front but when I went they weren't dueling right. If you like a wide array of elements, go on Ice first, if you like an intense ride, go for Fire. Be sure to ride both!

From the moment you set foot into the queue line, you are transported into another world. The theming is extensive and through the whole line there is something new to see. The Midevil/castle theming goes great with the ride atmosphere. Even though it takes a good amount of time to walk through this enormous line, but then you get to the ride.

The ride itself is amazing! Great elements, near misses, speed, intensity, everything that a coaster lover can ask for.

When we were at the park, the line was unbelievably short, so we had virtually no wait for any of the rides. We rode both side of this within 15 minutes. It's a great ride, great line, and the near miss with Fire is truly amazing. We loved it!

this is an amazing ride but I still pick Fire over Ice.

This ride is pure engineering genious. The fun factor on this is through the roof, not only because of the layout, but the near misses with Fire. The queue is also one of the best, and im my opinion, rivals Disney.

Spectacular...that sums up this coaster. It is an extremely fun coaster and when I was there, able to access the coaster numerous times within 30 minutes! The themeing was unreal...you walk through a castle to get to the coaster, you think you are almost in a real castle! Overall this coaster kicks butt!

While still a good invert, Ice doesn't live up to Fire. The ride doesn't have the speed and intensity that Fire has, but the overbank is a fun unique element. The near miss with the castle was very thrilling and so was the few near misses with Fire.

This ride in my opinion, is not as good as everyone says it is.

This is an excellent inverted coaster, with the dueling with ice, the near miss with the castle during the cobra roll, and also the inline twist when Fire roars overhead. This is a must at Islands of Adventure!
