This ride is a great ride. Boggled my mind when I saw how high I was at the first drop. I was surprised that most of the G's you pulled were at the bottom of the first drop. The ride was incredibly smooth and the second drop provided excellent air time. The helix at the end was so intense my vision went fuzzy and bright. I was there on a less crowded so I only had to wait 5 minutes. If you go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, be sure to ride Goliath!

Summary: Very Intense

Goliath was a really intense ride. The first drop is very tall with a tunnel at the end of the drop. The second half, in my opinion, was better then the first half because of all the positive g's. Do not miss this.

This is a really nice ride. The first drop into the tunnel is awesome. I alwas think that my hands are going to hit going into the tunnel. Lots of air time, great helix at the end. This is a very satisifying ride and does very well with no inversions.

Summary: Heart's A Beating!
June 2nd, 2003
This is the one ride that I can honestly say I still get scared on! Even though I have ridden it 10 times or so, everytime I approach the top of the lift hill my heart beats so fast, my palms sweat, and I grab on to the lapbar as tight as I can. The 255 foot drop is the most intense drop I have ever experienced and the second drop gives me plenty of airtime. Goliath is intimidating just to look at, and to ride, it is simply amazing. The last helix is not hype, it is really intense, and I do feel the force and nearly black out! This one is worth travelling across the country to ride!

If youve never ridden a hyper style coaster before you will love Goliath. Its tall, its fast, it has some airtime, and some positive Gs. However most other hyper coasters out there offer you a much better ride experiance. Some enthusiasts like the very powerfull helix, but in my opinion it is too powerfull and excessive.

Summary: Great Ride!

Magic Mountain's "Goliath" is definitely an unexpected ride. Looking at it and seeing that it has no loops may cause you to underestimate it, but don't. The first drop into the mist-tunnel is extremely thrilling and the helixes are mind-boggling. You really feel as though you're going to fall out! The waiting lines are ridiculous, however, but during the summer-hot days, they mist you with cold, refreshing water!

Overall, a must-ride! GRADE: B+

This is the best hyper ever made! It is absolutely insane! The drop is a thrill and the tunnel with mist is a great addition to this ride. Also the Helix is so intense, and has even caused me to gray/black out! This is probably MM's second best coaster. It is worth the hour or so waits, don't miss it!
