The first looper and, BOY, one of the best. Just one loop is good enough for this great, scenic rollercoaster classic!!!!

I loved the ride so much I rode it 10 times. I think the intensity is perfect, the thrill is perfect, and there's nothing like it.

This ride used to be so good. Then they added the OTSR's and the brakes. If you can put up with the head banging, it is still fun to ride. The scenery is great as it winds it's way through the trees and the hillside. This is the first looping coaster that I ever went on when I was a kid so it's a bit sentimental to me. And also why I'm so mad that they wont replace the OTSR's like they should.

This used to be my favorite ride. There are lots of drops, some airtime, and the infamous first loop for a steel coaster. It uses the terrain very well, so the illusion of speed is there, thus making it very fun. But, they have ruined the ride by putting tons of trim brakes, and for some stupid reason decided to put Over the Shoulder Restraints that create lots of headbanging! They are also running fewer trains these days, which creates longer lines. WHY? They have ruined a fun ride!

Magic Mountain's "Revolution" was America's first looping roller coaster. That, unfortunately, is obvious when riding. The coaster breaks in between hills, etc., and it was a little bumpy. Still, you may want to take a ride just to say "Hey, I've ridden the first looping coaster!"
Don't ride if you're under a time constraint, but try for fun! GRADE: B-
